Dust up your wrestling gear; it's time for the wrestingling sectionals! The Connellsville wrestling program fought through a tough-out to emerge ready and pumped up for the 2-AAA sectionals which is set to begin very soon.

The sectionals is a departure from the traditional wrestling concept where teams aim for scores to vest other teams. In the sectionals competition, you only have your wrestling gear and your skills to trust because it's a one-on-one competition that looks to honor the most talented individual athletes by giving them the chance to shine on a state-wide setting. The top-five wrestlers in each weight class will then move on to the next round which comprise the regional tournaments.

The competition isn't likely to get easier with each round as the more elite wrestlers in the country will be waiting for their chance to take the mat. Connellsville wrestlers understand this and are poised to show that they are ready to join the ranks of elite competitors in the country.
