Lucky Wrestling Singlet

For wrestler Sam Guidi of Pennsylvania, his wrestling singlet is a good luck charm. While it looks as though it's been pulled off a second-hand store shelf, with the logo missing, the lettering peeling off the back, and the red and black coloring faded out, that's because he wears it for every opening round of every tournament he performs in.
The singlet is six years old, and it was a hand-me-down to begin with. But coupled with Guidi's extensive talents, it was enough to carry him through the first round of the PIAA Class AA Wrestling Championships at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania last week. Giudi was one of eight area Class AA wrestlers who advanced to the quarterfinals and one of13 still alive for a medal after a strong first day.
