Pro wresting superstar Chris Jericho traded his wresting shoes for dancing shoes two months ago, as he was among a group of contestants selected to compete in the 12th season of the hit ABC show Dancing With the Stars. But Tuesday night the six-time world heavyweight champ got the boot.

He seemed to take it in stride, saying that it wasn't his best performance and at that point in the competition nothing less then the best will cut it. He also said he was happy to be going home, because he hasn't seen his kids in four weeks. Jericho entered the grueling competition with little dance experience, and calls his DWTS partner Cheryl Burke a "friend for life." He said he was proud to show that a WWE guy could get as far as he did in something like a dancing competition.
